The Intermediate Improvising Course takes each of the Texas Blues verses and reveals the underlying scale patterns that were used to create this tune. So, before studying this course it is best to have learnt all six verses of Texas Blues as taught on the Beginner’s Blues Course.

This course can be followed equally well by both electric and acoustic guitar players.

By the time you get to the end of this course … …you will have increased your confidence to be able to play improvised blues guitar and gained an insight into how improvising works.

The video content is supported by printouts showing note by note tab of all six verses of Texas Blues and also a diagram of all five positions of the blues scale patterns. As well as the backing tracks for Texas Blues this course comes with a couple of extra generic 12-bar blues tracks to jam over with your new-found improvising skills.
